The new year
as the first month of the new year nears a close many things are changing, the shop i am at is under new management. Thats awwesome. Hopefully we will have a nother artist coming back from California for a guest spot. If that works out and the money situation imporves for me hopefully i can save money to pay off some bills aswell as maybe take a trip somewhere to get away from Iowa so that I can appreciate it when I come back. I would love to see my friends in Denver, as well as seeing my friends in Detroit. Hopefully though I wil be making my first journey to the south. I would really like to visit my friend that lives in Memphis. if i do that I promise not to get arested drunk pissing on Elvis' grave. I have never been to the south and dont really know how that would work out. I have been to Texas before but i consider Texas to be its own entity as well as its own country. Hearing tales from the great white north of Detroit, I do thinkn that the money gods be willing I would really like to try to relocate back to Detroit. Hopefully maybe finding a possible finacial supporter to help me open a small tattoo shop where i can work at my own pace.
I am getting into the mind set that no one in this life will or can make me happy unless i make myself happy. That is something I need to work on for my self.That being said i think that it is apparent that I am still single and dealing with it. Living in a new town where i really dont know much people other than those i work with makes for a lonely town. I meet some people when i decide to go out to the bar in my neighbor hood, but they are more drinking aquantiences rather than true friends.That too being said I am really trying not to go out and drink. Reading has regained its self in my life again. I have been reading a lot of Phil Dick books as well as Mona Lisa Overdrive and such. Sci Fi is still a strong drive for my reading prowess.
