Wow. what, it's been like a month?
"Real World" (tm)
Not all that much happening.
Work is really busy, and I am totally not keeping up :(
Have discovered that *significant* exercise is required in order to maintain effectiveness. Seems to be just over an hour's brisk walk per day as a minimum.
I bought new shoes with an orthopedic sole, and that's helping a lot - I don't have sore heels anymore! On a related note, my ankles and toes are starting to hurt.
And the big news; I HAVE A MOBILE PHONE.
Yes, a Blackberry 7100v. I am extraordinarily happy with it. It is has a calendar, tasks, memo pad (upon which I have written a game report), and a coo game. Plus it is a phone, I guess.
Gaming...
Avatars: Well, I'm still slack with Avatars. Am trying to pick up the pace.
D&D: I'm enjoying it, but we have become trapped in a different world, where most of my powers and a lot of my spells don't work. Now we have to save the gods. Stupid gods. Glad I'm a celestial and not a cleric because it would be really hard to worship these gods considering how gullible they must be.
Nobilis: Looks like it will, actually, really, definitely run. For real.
Serenity: Still enjoying it. I may have caused a problem with a post that talked about I Can't Believe It's Not Apple being fermented. "It's a weapon" "It's an alocohol" - It's both!
Empire: Running weekly. Have recently picked up a new player as well (name removed to protect the innocent). So far so good. Three sessions in they haven't gone to a single university lecture. My players actually said "no, we desperatley need to have sex, now." so the university lifestyle seems to be working.
Requiem: (repeat to self; must write downtime) Enjoying it.
Forsaken: what *is* it about this game that causes me to be unable to make sessions due to commitments? Am trying to write up the story of the Conclave Plot.
Awakening: Am enjoying it. Really enjoying interactions with other PCs. Seems a lot lighter than conventional Cam games so far, but am prepared to trust the ST that it will get darker.
In other news, I desperately need to start shedding games. In feb I get 4 tuesday games, 4 friday games, 1 wednesday game, 3 saturday games, and 1 sunday game. 13 games in 28 days is nearly 1 game every 2 days.
