Money Money Money
I am thoroughly confused on my account situation. According to my “Current Statement” I need to pay $2,498.00 by September 01, 2006 because I have a balance of $3,798.00 minus my Pell Grant Estimate of $1,300.00. However, my “Account Status” confirms that I have the Pell Grant Estimate of $1,300.00 AND Federal Direct Subsidized Loan Estimate of $2,750.00. If that is correct, which it should be because I have accepted both the Pell Grant and Federal Direct Subsidized Loan, then I should have $4050.00. For that reason, I should NOT owe $252.00 like the “Account Status” suggests nor the $2,498.00 that the “Current Statement” states BUT I should have an extra $252.00 left over.
Above is the exact email that I sent Central's Office of Scholarship and Financial Aid. I am a bit frustrated that after figuring out my finances for this school year, now I am being confused by Central "new and improved" system.... I didn't even mentiont the fact that I am also suppose to be getting money for Work-Study. GRRRR
