Finally, April and I have a roommate for this coming year. It has been a total mess ever since we found out that our original roommate was not going to be coming back to Central. We've tried to fill the spot but it just never seemed to work out BUT now my friend Justin is going to be living with us. (YAY!) I am elated that we finally have a roommate and even more ecstatic that it's some one that is a great friend. I am uber excited for this year. I have a feeling it's going to be VERY busy with having to do observation hours, maintain two jobs, stay involved with the fraternity, and stay on top of my classes but I am truly excited to be living on my own with friends. :-D I cannot wait to move up... only two more weeks.
Even more exciting is the fact that Elizabeth has asked me to be her brides maid for her wedding, which will be Sept. 22, 2007. I am glad that she has found "the one" and even happier that I get to experience it with her. CONGRATS!!
In other news Victor's dad had to be rushed to the emergency room last week due to what was believe to be another heart attack. However, later we found out that it did have to do with his heart but it was not a heart attack and the doctors were able to help him within a few days. Thank goodness.
When it comes to suing UPS for running the stop sign and hitting my car in June... it cannot be done. Apparently, since I live in the lovely state of Michigan they are only required to pay the deductible of $500. The law is on their side. *tear*
Lastly, my grandpa is not doing so well. His cancer is progressing and he is so weak that he can no longer go to chemotherapy until he his strong enough. However, that prospect doesn't look so good when he doesn't eat or drink and only sleeps The doctor already said that he will pass away because of cancer but the chemo was suppose to help to prolong his life. It's really sad to say but we're all expecting the worst and hoping for the best.
It seems like I had more sad news than good but perhaps that will change soon. I hope everyone is enjoying their summer and try to stay cool in this heat. Love ya!
