they're all hanging out, and being british and its weird. london smells funny. i dont think i like it. i haven't been to anything exciting yet though, i've just seen the actual places where these strange creatures come from.
the flight wasn't so bad. got to the seat to myself so i could stretch out and sleep. customs was fairly painless, so long as you just did what you were told, some people didn't and im sure they did not have the same pleasurable experience. this one girl didn't fill out her card before getting in the "que" and the lady yelled at her and told everyone to go around her. and all the machines they have to scan your bags, we just walked right by, i could be here to kill the queen. whatev. the first thing that made me realize i wasn't in the united states were the homes, they are super close together in a little area of space, then a soccer field, then some woods, then more houses smushed together. they all looked like they were built in the 17th century, probably were. and i saw the cars driving on the wrong side of he road. saw the drivers of those cars sitting on the wrong side of the car. its like you know all this stuff, you see it in movies, but until you're there, its just not real. the towns we saw on the way in on the express reminded me of the towns from 28 days and weeks later and children of men, then i started to have a panic attack at the idea of zombies being out there.
london is crazy, its really ghetto and dirty looking, just because sooooo many people live here and its so old. i guess its hard to make streets centuries old look new or building about to fall over look presentable. like i said, i just saw the top of the eye and big ben on my way in, so when i get down there i think i'll have a totally different opinion of london. susan's flat is nice, hard to get to though, you have to walk down a bunch of "dodgy" streets to get to it and its so far from the closest bus stop, and even that is 30 minutes from victoria square. and she lives where everyone else does. lol. i guess its hard to explain. i cant wait to go to paris tomorrow, i think i'd much rather start out then start in, london makes me want to take a nap so bad i hardly want to try venturing out. seriously, just look at a map, its ridiculous. paris i'm sure will be the same way, only everything will be in french and i dont speak a word of it, awesome. i hope someone tries to help me. oooooh, let them try.
i almost forgot, on the express train a guy walked in speaking italian and i easedropped on his conversation until he walked off. it was awesome. :D
i'm not going to do anything today i dont think, just sleep and play with sammy and lucy, he's 3 and she's about 11/2. they are adorable, but sammy's in the im a guy so lets tear shit up stage and lucy's in the "that's mine" "give me that" stage. kids. i guess thats all i have to say for today. i'll post after tomorrow with pics from france and hopefully news on whether it smells as bad as the UK does. lol. i love europe.
