I really like his voice in this one. At the beginning, I was totally like *did Simone forget the story LJ told Linc about his French tutor?* but I loved how you brought that back and revealed that he misled his dad about what happened there exactly--classic. Especially since Linc had such a blase attitude about it, unlike a real parent! *steps off the soap box*

Anyway, I really like his thought process, totally believable, and I'm glad that Lincoln just took Sofia in, no hanky panky there. Very believable--to me it's just one more person he didn't want to see dead.

I also like how LJ's learned a lot of Spanish...it's a very nice touch to indicate how much time has gone by.

I definitely didn't forget. I've always thought that he was talking about sex, just that he knows about girls. I mean there's a whole range of knowledge from knowing that girls exist (and they don't have cooties) to having sex.

Rewatching that scene so I could get the tutor's name right, I was reminded how Linc was so 'okay' with it. I get it but it was still kinda odd.

I'm glad it's believable. And that's my theory as far as Linc and Sofia and I'm sticking to it.

This is true. Maybe I was just assuming too much; it really distressed me that he was only 13! Good grief.

I never could decide if Linc was okay with it, or if he just didn't want to start a fight about something like that considering he and LJ had just been reunited, and they'd already had that fight in the car earlier. I tried to tell myself that was his intent, because it would bug me if he was okay about it. You know if he had a daughter he wouldn't have been okay about it.

Me, too! That's why I believe he was talking about just making out. I gotta believe it.

That's makes sense. If it was his daughter, he'd been on his way back to Chicago to kill that kid.

Definitely not a pairing I ever would have thought of, but I suppose with all the time they spent together the last few episodes, and with him being a teenage boy...huh. Maybe it would help if I had an inkling who Donna was. *runs off to continue trying to catch up on episodes*

I like LJ a lot, and I like the way this is written. Good first person perspective.

Thanks. This was fun to write and it is one my favorite fics.

Donna is mentioned in 2x9.

Hmm...I know I watched that one couple months ago...I guess I have a terrible memory. I'll go back and watch it again (hardship, really).

I absolutely hate it when I have to rewatch episodes for research purposes. ;-)

Ah, what a lovely voice for LJ! So believable and consistent with his on-screen character, but then you’ve always done him justice. And I loved hearing his pov for this, I don’t think it could have worked so well any other way. His insecurity mixed with his honesty and also his flipping back and forth between hope and no hope for her, was so very 17-year-old, too. Lovely, lovely fic! (and hey, you may be the first with this pair! ;D)

AW! Thanks.

I can't even get into Sofia's head. And it probably wouldn't have been as much from from a 3rd person POV.

hey, you may be the first with this pair!
I should put that on my resume. ;-)
