A's new school: going pretty well so far. Education = mediocre (par for the course in the UK at the moment), but staff and children are all genuinely caring and pleasant to one another.
R has decided she wants to go to preschool, as well as her two mornings a week at kindergarten. She starts next week - definitely feels ready for it. She's going to be climbing the walls by the time she goes to school.
New job: one week (nearly) in. Still working on a number of significant projects through to submission from last job. New job is definitely more challenging, but I'm really enjoying it so far. Plays to my strategic and pragmatic strengths. Managing egos is going to be more of a problem than it was, but hey ho.
