our furry children.. not to confused with our resin children
Went home to let the cats out of the bedroom on my lunch break and of course I decided to wait until it was too late NOT to hit rush hour both directions. s-m-r-t :B Anywho, I find a note on the door saying that the bug people had been in, done their thing and left... but not before alerting the leasing office to a 'housekeeping issue' that was apparently 'in violation of the lease'. Panicking a bit, I called the office as instructed on the note and ask them what's up.
"Oh, yeah, they told us there was an issue but they never give us any details."
"Okay, but it says whatever the issue is, it's causing a violation of my lease."
"Yes, it is in violation."
"...I'd like to.. fix it?"
"They didn't give us any details."
So apparently I've got this nebulous 'housekeeping' violation. I'd bet the next person ten bucks that they saw the cat yarf in the back by the bathroom that JJ lovingly hwarked up this morning and that I forgot to clean before I left because I was too busy disassembling our kitchen. Or maybe they thought our bathroom was too dirty. I don't know, I didn't even expect them to go back there in the first place. The stupid note said 'clear out your cabinets and top of the fridge' so I assumed the kitchen.
Gah. So now I have no idea what they thought was so slovenly about our apartment (I mean, aside from general clutter but I made sure there weren't any stray cans or dishes or a ton of stuff on the floor aside from the contents of our kitchen cabinets). The dirty dishes were all rinsed and in the washer, trash was freshly taken out.. stupid cat barf. :|
I brought my DS today but I didn't have time to play. :( I can't eat two by myself I can't win.
