the weekend was awesome
Started Friday. Made it to the CT diner meet just in time to order as those there at that point were receiving their meals. Enjoyed the meal and chance to meet and talk with some of the furs down there. From there, followed Coyoty to Funny Bones. My first time at a comedy club. Coyoty was able to get tickets for himself, me, Nighteyes and his mate Geistfoxe. The comedians were funny. Personally, I thought the 2nd one was the best of the three.
After the show thanked Coyoty, and I followed Nighteyes and Geistfoxe to Nighteyes apt. in Springfield. Spent the rest of the weekend with them. Highlights would be The Pub, his mom's cooking , talk and relaxing. Being exposed to technology and all the marvels its capable of once you are not throttled by dial-up (hopefully going wireless by Summer) also was an enjoyable experience. As for relaxing, two words come to mind: Robot Chicken. Other words form in my mind also, "Ninja wannabes fail at rolling log". heh It was great just to have a weekend meeting new furends, being myself, and being accepted as a happy dalmation. They were great hosts and I am very greatful for their hospitality. We will get together again.
Sadly, Nighteyes was under the weather as I left. It appears he has come down with the flu, or a stomach bug, which we suspect came from KFC eats. We all ate at KFC, so don't blame the Colonel because he is the bestest dude in white save one. :) We suspect, however, that the cheese sauce was not up to his standards.
Get well. *hugs and scritches* Hope to see you guys at the next Western MA meet the last Sunday of this month. Till then, staying local and unpacking. (Oh, btw, that would be at Cracker Barrel according to Nitro.)
