Good gracious, but all these posts on the network lately have been really and truly distressing! My heart goes out to each and every one of those poor people -- if I could personally come and give you all a great big hug and a lovely warm cinnamon bun to put those smiles back on your faces, I would do so in an instant!

Oh, dear. Sometimes I get so caught up in how lucky I am to have such wonderful and loving friends that I forget that there is still quite a lot of negativity out there in this world! There are still times when unfortunate incidents occur, and when other people can forget themselves and be awfully unkind, and -- well, I really think that at this point, everyone could use some good old-fashioned cheering up!

Now, I know we're all just tickled about the upcoming races -- I know I am! -- but they are a ways away, and drastic sunshine-spreading measures are needed immediately! So to hold us over in the meantime, I propose that we all indulge in a little exercise I call the Compliment Game!

The way this works is thus: all you have to do is reply to this post, and I shall tell you one thing that I love and think is special about you! Don't worry if you're a stranger -- I am very good at giving compliments, if I do say so myself! (And besides, when it comes to love and cheer, there are no strangers!)

In fact, let's all participate in this game! If you see someone you know, why not chime in and tell them something you just love about them? I'm certain that they'll do the same for you!

What fun this will be! Who would like to start?
