Going from Bordeaux to Moscow haven't been so simple. First plane delayed (missing a ... piece!), missed the connecting flight in Paris, arrived late in Moscow, hit the traffic. Left home at 5h30, arrived at 21h00 pm, local time.
Going back was about to be even more funny. The visa was requested until 20th of december, then bought my ticket, return flight on 18th. Got the visa the day before departure until 17th. What to do? Cancel the travel and lose the tickets? no way! I want to see our chefs in moscow, I want to see moscow, I want to see our dear and adorable students!
But the 17th came as quickly as Moscow is a time-eater monster; and people started to tell me that yeah, maybe being an illegal in russia, even french, that could be an issue. Real one, big one; big enough to be kicked to the french consulate until further notice. Maybe the plan to go to airport with
ola_laa just to ask kindly what to do isn't good enough... I don't want to spend "not your christmas" in a russian jail. This would improve my russian, for sure.
So we did at the last minute all the procedures to make a one day visa for the 18th; thanks to Boris help. He saved my ass, let's say.
So alles gut ende gut, I'm in bordeaux and going to sleeeeeeep. More about the GREAT + FANTASTIC russian trip very soon...
