Sunny Day Manuscript Among Others

Mar 06, 2008 21:35

It's been almost a week since I sent my first manuscript to Corwin Press, but I braved it up *gulp* and sent out another proposal to the International Reading Association. And guess what?

I'm still checking emails but also I am finishing up a chapter three. It's easier now. I know what I want to say and that in itself, really helps.

Yesterday I 'discovered' a small suitcase of four Winnie the Pooh Books - the board kind. It was a delightful treat as I had forgotten them. I bought them when ivry was just a few months old and now they are developmentally appropriate for him.

Writing ...Well, it's more than just an endeavor of emotions, it's a business of thought that is becoming much less stuck. And clouded.

I'm letting my research papers alone for the night and for tomorrow night as well. Break time.

Bathtime is fun - but of course, Ivry loves to play morning bathtime - such the wrong time of time.

Just got also called in for an interview for an ESL position that may or may not open with possibilities, but it's better than nothing.
Anyhow, sweet dreams, y'all.

-Dorit
