I SENT IT!
I sent the book proposal on "Teaching At-Risk ELLs" just a few minutes ago to the US publisher I've been eyeing for months. Perhaps I can now legit all those empty long nights, hiding behind research stacks in the library, spread between manuscripts and papers at home, forgetting who I am.
This is the moment I have been waiting for..my first book proposal that I've sent out. And I'm only shaking like a leaf.
Anyhow, just to recap, just before I hit that 'send' button, I heard a few drumrolls.
I hit the 'send'
and...
nothing happened.
I'm alive!~

It's not easy...sending it out... but I've got to do it...
Just humping along now
Anyhow, calming down now..I emailed yesterday and he said he would get back to me next week.
Is that quick or what?
I thought I had to wait weeks, but I guess maybe now not.
I'm still now eating my nails.. the waiting time and yes, his response.
Ugh. I think I'm going to be sick.
