Brothers jeepers!!
Gosh I got off the phone from my cheap brother!!!
A long time ago we gave my parents a computer. To make the story short - it hurt alot of feelings around the brothers and sister in-laws.
Last year or the year before, I fixed the computer, the bros just act like their bosses and I am the dumb one with the luxary of time or whatever.
But recently the computer got fried by a thunderstorm or something.
So my cheap brother wants to go make the rounds again and look matcho or something.
All my brothers make way more money or have a house - I don't have any of those luxeries but when I do visit the folks (parents) - I pay for the groceries or if something breaks - like a microwave oven or a stove - I put in a big share or pay for it for my parents. I don't bother with my brothers - too - much - capitalism to deal with and less familisms. Very stingy like scrooge.
Gosh nothings changed since I was 11 or 12 - I did not have any income - only the new years money that I get from relatives and so. My brothers bitch and teased me then and I got the best christmas present for my parents and I guess that shut my brothers big mouths for a few years but they are still act like stupid kids.
So I call my parents and gave them the info for where to get a computer and if I have to get more info on another computer on sale or whatever I would. I also told my mom about me helping out a few ppl and she's a bit astonish about me helping ppl.
Hey its hard to find deserving ppl that need the help but when you do - its worth the effort - rather than see the effort goto waste on those that don't appreciate it and just abuse the priviledge.
So far I learn in life its only good to help the young to get a education and a job and make the best in their life for whomever is in their life - not the selfish old farts\scrooges that just make scams and all the evils of consumerism and captialism or anything thats anti-family.
*grumbling*
Well at least Lucy my cat got her soft food to celebrate the first big snow storm.
All I can say to those that have been helped - make the best of life - the family you make is the important thing around you and teach them well and be kind and loving - then maybe kindness and loving may be returned back in time by your children.
