Snow Day!
A huge winter storm came through this morning and has been dumping snow since about 10 am. I left work at about 1:30 and drove about 20 mph all the way home in super low visibility and with frozen windshield wipers. I brought home some work but after the tense drive home and taking out the dogs and cleaning up the snowy floors I just wanted to take a nap. Then Shawn brought home some wood and we lit a fire and how could I work with the sleeping environment was so perfect!
After my 30 minute nap I took the dogs out again. They LOVE the snow. Henry was a little hesitant at first, but once he saw how much fun Sydney was having he started hopping around in it too. It was adorable. At one point Henry got stuck in a snow drift that was about 3 inches higher than he was. I was really tempted to put on second pair of socks and a second pair of pants and play with them! Like make snow angels and a snowman. It was just so peaceful and the snow was so pretty.
Henry has been doing much better with the crate training. He cries at night because he isn't used to it, but he hasn't been peeing or pooping in it. He did pee a couple of times yesterday in the house. I would catch him the act, which is good because I could punish him right then, but so far today nothing! I hope it continues! I am not really feeling like I did Monday anymore. Henry is starting to show his little dog personality and I love the little guy. Anyways, below are some more baby pictures!
Henry is always trying to snuggle up to Syd, especially when she is sleeping. Yesterday he fell asleep like this and Sydney actually let him (which is a first!)
Here are the pups in the snow. I wanted to get a picture of them running around, but by the time Shawn brought me the camera they weren't bounding around anymore and I was too cold. More tomorrow!

One of the cutest things about Henry is his little butt! He just has a little tuft of a tail!
