Today Shawn and I went into the pet store to get some clippers for Sydney's nails, which grow at an alarmy speed and have become more clackity on the wood floors than ever before. An hour later and far too much money later, we leave with a new addition to the family. I had been looking at Corgi's for awhile online because they are just so adorable. They have these cute little stumper legs. I also have wanted Sydney to have a little friend to play with! I am not so sure she is keen on the idea right now. She is a bit jealous so we have to be sure and give her tons of attention. But I think eventually they will be buddies.
So Henry is basically my present to Shawn and his present to me for Christmas. He is so precious. He has been scurrying all over the place. It is a little annoying that I have to watch him whenever he is outside because he keeps wandering under the porch. But Shawn is going to board that up so hopefully it won't be a problem too long. Except that I have to watch him inside too because I don't want him to start chewing on electrical wires or anything. I forgot how much trouble puppies are. Sydney wasn't really a puppy anymore when we got her, so I didn't have to deal with most of that. But whenever I get too mad Henry does something adorable (like a few minutes ago he had the hiccups) and I forget all about it!
Under the cut are a few pictures. One of Henry and one of the two buddies! Also in there is our new bathroom! Shawn did almost all the work because I have been working 12 and 13 hour days for awhile now. I did do the painting however, which was difficult in that small of space with my trusty painting pole. Also I hit the shower knob with my ass while balancing precariously on the seat in the shower stall to get to the back wall and managed to soak myself. But ahhh it's finally finished! And it looks so fantastic that I don't even want to use it.
There are also a few other pics, one of Shawn and I at Lori's wedding (with my darker hair) and another of the pre-Thanksgiving dinner that Blessy and Nick made. It was really nice for us all to have dinner together and Shawn agreed to prepare his famous chicken parmesan for our Christmas feast. I guess these will be our new traditions. I love things like that!
Well enjoy, and hopefully I can post more, as my big projects are wrapping up this week!
