I know I've not been posting a lot recently but I have finally got round to finding a somewhat less brown theme to use here on LJ :)

Back in the very early part of this century I had the first validate account on sdf-eu.org and I put up a holding page on the web-space for my account... now after almost a decade I'm proud to announce that a new holding page is now in place - happy.sdf-eu.org (not tested with ie).

I've been having a little play with Wolfram Alpha. It is not a Google killer nor do I think it is meant to be, I can see it becoming a useful research tool.
