I have abandoned live journal.

(not really)

I am in Chicago at an apple store and am using some nice community mac computer to update my journal. Chad is looking at computer stuff.

I am using the Power Book G4. Take yours home today. It starts at $1599.

I had other stuff to say but ...

oh yeah. We saw Farenheit 911 today and there was a huge line and we had to go a semi-far ways to see it because there are only three theatres in Chicago playing it. Chad paid our 9.50 a piece tickets and we were in. It was long and depressing...but awesome. I wanted to wait and see if Miss Steph Palumbo was going to be in the credits, but I had to pee. When we left there was a sign at the box office that said all showings are sold out for today.

I like Chicago a lot. Last night we had dinner with my rich aunt and uncle and they were supers sweet and bought us wine to drink and I got almost drunk and then my aunt put $60 in my pocket for no reason. And that was way cool.

We're having dinner soon with my other aunt who we're staying with, who is not really my aunt, but my crazy uncle's ex-wife. but she's like an aunt.

We went to museums and to Tower Records and used our employee discounts and I bought the new Wilco cd. And then I found two Pavement singles/e.p.s that I had never seen before at record/used cd stores. And it was awesome. I also found some out of print Sonic Youth import from Holland but I didn't buy it.

I don't want to leave tomorrow and have to go back to working at Tower for $6.00 (maybe $6.50) an hour. Tower blows. Not really, I like it.

I got to see Ana for a couple days and that was cool and happy. She's gone now but I will see her in a little while.

I wonder if anybody read this. Hey Sarah lawrence Amy (I can't remember your last name) - I am going to email you my Geek Love conference paper..I got super busy. I'm glad you want to read it. I didn't mean to ignore you.

I went into Urban Outfitters and wanted to buy something but everything was so expensive and I remembered that SLC Amy said that they give money to George Bush or something. So I didn't.

I miss SLC a ton and am seriously considering going back. Liz, if you're reading this, I love the picture of you with the kitten.

I like Chicago and don't want to go back to Nashville.

I have hardcore blisters on my feet (Hi everyone),

Hillary-beth.
