I haven't been able to get the Gay Pirates song I posted on Christmas eve out of my head for the last few days. Ria suggested I try listening to the following working on the theory that one catchy tune might displace another:

I now have both songs stuck in my head.

I'm going to give up on  reverb10 for a while. The prompts are not helping me reflect at all as you've probably noticed if you've read my previous posts relating to it. I'm not in the right frame of mind and it's all starting to feel like a meme. I won't abandon it altogether though. I'll just ignore the prompts that don't interest me. 

Writing
What do you do each day that doesn't contribute to your writing -- and can you eliminate it?

Errr....work and no.

Assuming the author of the prompt actually means to provoke reflection on what it is that hampers the actual physical process of writing.

I've signed up for Reverb 10. I did so on the spur of the moment and it's not usually my sort of thing but if it helps get me back into the habit of writing daily then that can only be a good thing.

I'm just waiting for the first prompt now...
