Depression Poem

Sep 16, 2002 18:59

It hits like a hammer,

Hard as steel,

And in it’s path leaves nothing.

Simply a void which cannot be filled.

The void is so deep and so dark,

Nothing can reach me.

For I am at the bottom,

I am alone at the bottom.

I can hear no voices of comfort,

I can feel no hands of care.

Although they may be only inches away,

They still cannot see the dark,

Or feel the cold.

For the dark,

And the cold,

Are mine to feel alone.

This is my hell,

My depression.
