A best friend is:
someone you can always turn to
someone whom is always tere for you, even thought they may not be near
someone whom always respects your feelings and emotions and yet tells you how it is
someone who loves you unconditionally
someone to hold you when you are sad
someone who holds your hand simply because it is there
someone who you can takl to forever
someone who you can love as you love a lover, yet you find a way to love them even more
someone who will never lie to you but only tell you the hard truth and when it hurts you be there to comfort you
someone whom will always be there to protect you no matter what
someone who will help erase the wounds of the past
someone who although you love them more than you would a lover, you love them in a different way, a more pure way
someone who you know will always care about you no matter what
your most precious companion
the most important thing in your life
these are my definitions of a best friend, my best friend is Ryan C. Kirkendoll, I love him more than anyone could ever imagaine, yet i have come to realize that i believe it is in a way of respect and a way of admiration, I love him as i would a brother, a father, a mother, for he is all of that to me, nothing less, and yet so much more, in these hard times of my life, i am happy and astounded that someone would be all of this to me for this long period of time. He is someone who puts up with all of my shit and helps me through it. He is my teacher in life, my guide though the darkness, and my light at the end, he shines like a fire upon me to keep me warm when all i feel is cold, he is the most important thing in my life. And although i piss him off with talk about our friendship turning into something more, all i truly want is his companionship to stand by my side when i need him for him to say he loves me as a friend and to hold me and keep me warm when my life seems like shit.
