Friday the 13th
Last night Braden, Alison and I moseyed on down to the Spins and Needles craft night. We made felt monsters. We were pretty much the first ones there, but that didn't flag our enthusiasm for our task at hand. We ended up making the bestest darn felt monsters in town. Stay tuned for pics of our crazy shenanigans. Crafting = Fun.
Tonight we're off to see Harry Potter with a friend from work. I don't have too many expectations, though. It seems like it's been so long since we last saw a movie in the the theatre. I think the last one was "The Wind that Shakes the Barley", starring Christa's second husband.
On Saturday, we'll probably check out the tall ship festival. That should be good, clean, touristy fun.
Next week, I have an electrician coming in to install an electrical plug outlet in our spare room. That way we can move our computer desk so that we can fit a double bed for guests. (Hint! Hint!) We'll also have him install a plug in the bathroom so that Braden doesn't have to shave in the dining room anymore! I like the look of old houses, but they're not exactly convenient sometimes.
I have the day off today, but I'll probably just waste it away by lounging around doing nothing. I hate when that happens.
