AWD Snow Dorifto!!!!
It is very snowy outside. My car would not make it because I can not even fit my foot under the front bumper.
My dad picked me up from work tonight in the CR-V and we went to Wendy's to pick a diet coke for my mom.
He went across the street to the parking lot far away from kohl's and ashley's. He stopped the car and said, "Go to it."
All I could say is OMG!!!
He expected me to do a couple of donuts, whatever, just standard kid stuff playing in the ice.
Well, HELL NO! I busted out with the dorifto action! I was like... "Where's the e-brake on this junt?'"
I took off and performed a couple of warm up drifts. Just standard slides. I could tell my dad was getting impressed. I looked at him and said ready for the grand finale?
He said "Yeah!" so I was all like "Here we go!!!"
I took off and got up to about 30, turned sharply and yoinked the e-brake. The tail end began to slide. Just then, I countersteered for a full 4 wheel drift! Just as the CR-V began to right itself, I gave it gas and countersteered the other way. I weaved in and out of 4 wheel drifts for 3 transitions, then ended it with a sweet AWD donut.
He was smiling and laughing, like you would on a roller coaster. We switched positions and drove home. He told me he was really impressed with my driving skill and asked me where I learned it. I was like... I dont know.
