Ugh. Minor Crisis...

Jan 12, 2006 11:18

So, its only been a week into the semester and I've already missed a class (not by choice, mind you.) Yes, I should be in history right now learning fascinating facts about the U.S. from 1877 until present day but, as my luck would have it, my left contact(which was already irritating me in the first place) decided it would disappear completely during class piano. I spent half an hour searching for it to see if it was still in my eye or if it had fallen onto the floor, my clothes, my hair, the piano, etc...but it was no where to be found. By the way, if you didn't know already, I'm pretty much blind without contacts...therefore, instead of being a good little college student and walking to history with Caleb as usual, I had to rush to my car, drive to the dorm(not advisable if you can only see through one eye) park in an illegal spot, run up to my dorm and put in the one extra contact I had left. After that was all finished I breathed a sigh of relief: I could see again. However, it was already 11:02 and my class started at 11:00. The teacher does not permit anyone to come in past 11:10 and there was no way I could get myself from Rast up to the 4th floor of Campbell Hall in 8 minutes...so I gave up and now I'm sitting here, wasting time at the computer and boring you all with this stupid story. Ah, life...
