so far, this year, I've watched Taiyou No Uta and 1 LItre of Tears. both are Jap dramas with the same lead actress. They even have a similar theme , that is the lead character has an incurable disease. That's why it's hard not to compare them. OHmigod!! this movie is a must watch. It made me cry buckets and I felt that Sean Penn did a marvellous job as a mentally retarded guy. He was totally believable.  And according to http://www.imdb.com , he went to a mental institution to prepare for his role!

In case you think I'm nuts, I'm referring to Big Fish the movie. Pretty old movie, but I've just managed to watch it yesterday.

At first, I felt the movie was just a weird movie... then it slowly captured my attention. The dialogue is really good and the movie is full of memorable quotes.
