The Upswing
There's a lot more I should be doing right now, I'm sure, but I feel a need to update this a little for anyone who still reads my entries.
I am home, and searching for a job. Not a job as a teacher, so to speak, but I'm looking for preschool teacher positions and I have even applied to be a secretary at McKean Dentistry. I would much rather be near Trevor, who is in Johnstown right now, but I can't. Financially, it's impossible. It also looks like right now I'll have to work up here for at least the coming year. Trevor will be at WVU finishing his last year of grad school. Neither one of us prefers being in the long distance relationship scenario, but it's what will have to do for now.
I received my teaching certificate today in the mail, finally. I looked at the piece of paper with mixed feelings. However, I'm proud of it. I made it. I did it. Not on my own, but I made it.
Basically, I have a lot of hopes for the future, and right now I have to be patient. I want to do my best at whatever I do, and there are a lot of decisions and hopes that I did not expect to have at this point in my life, but I am thankful for all of them.
