Dress-up
So this party I'm going to on Saturday night for Purim is also a costume party. I only have one real costume: the 1920s flapper outfit that I created for Mohamed's speakeasy party a few years ago and wore again to the costume birthday party the summer-before-last. I could wear it again but it's really more of a summer costume, and it's supposed to cool down and rain some more on Saturday night. My other idea I was thinking of is very simple and not really a costume at all, but I was going to put on a lanyard and make some kind of ID badge for it and go as an employed person. I don't really want to get excessively costume-y because Doug Bale is also playing Saturday night at Carly's and I thought I might stop by there if the party broke up early. Wearing the flapper costume might put a damper on any public interaction. Heh. Any costume suggestions are welcome. Another thing I could do would be to break out some of the 70s clothes, but that's not really a costume, either - that's just dressing funny.
