1. Still Alone by Ayumi Hamasaki
Not too sure why I like this song so much, I tried to translate it and from my very rough translation, I found that I could identify with the little story she was telling. It's made me cry a few times, especially lately but, c'est la vie.
2. Before the Dawn by Evanescence
What can I say about this song that I haven't already said? This just seems to be the perfect song in all ways. The way she set up the music, the lyrics and just the entire whole thing is just amazing and takes my breath away. And there's that emotion of longing and holding back that just strikes that emotional chord with me. I usually have this on my mp3 player or WMP when I'm writing, drawing or just needing to relax.
3. Call Me When You're Sober by Evanescence
Fell in love with that song as soon as I heard the 10 second mini-clip of it. I have it all on my mp3 player and look forward to the new CD coming out October 3rd. I'm not sure why I love this song, especially the Couldn't take the blame/sick with shame/must be exhausting to lose your own game/Selfishly hated/no wonder you're jaded/you can't play the victim this time and you're too late part of the song.
4. Down with the Sickness by Disturbed
Not sure what I like about this one, I know I don't like the ending "No mommy" part where he's screaming about his mother beating him. There's something about these two parts in the song that just caught my attention. Looking at my own reflection/When suddenly it changes/Violently it changes (oh no)/There is no turning back now/You've woken up the demon in me and It seems you're having some trouble/in dealing with these changes/living with this changes. Not sure what it is about those lines I like, I just like it.
5. Sotsugyo: Sayonara wa Ashita no tame ni by Tacky and Tsubasa
This song just... fits right now is all I can say really. Especially right now. It's from Inuyasha, the episode where Naraku "kills" Kikyou for the first time. I really relate with this song right now.
6. Out There by DJ Encore ft. Engenlina (sp)
The first song that I heard and immediately gave me a mental image. I'll always hear this song and think about that day and those that followed after it. I love how high her voice can hit and I can do that too if I warm up and practice for a long time first.
Let me know if any of you want any of these songs, I'll give them to you if you want.
