So I finally start updating this journal again, and you know what happens? Car crash! I am bad at describing things, so here it is by picture (with my beautiful mouse drawings). It's pretty intense!

Alright, so. You've made these absolutely gorgeous cartoons on slacken_ties for ages, and you even drew an adorable Bob cartoon for me that still warms my heart when I see it. So I was wondering if you'd make commissioned drawings as well, because I had an idea for another community I'm a part of, and I wanted to know if you could do the job.

Basically, it'd be a drawing to put on a "congrats on your wedding!" card for actor John Barrowman and his partner. I was thinking about a couple of grooms with bouquets, maybe one carrying the other? I don't know. I just thought of your drawings first because they're gorgeous and adorable and cute and omg.

I think we'd just need a digital version of it. Let me know if you have a chance to make it sometime this week, and how much would you charge us for it.

Oh man, awesome! I'd be happy to draw something! Would you want the grooms to actually look like John Barrowman and his partner, or just a couple of random dudes?

As for much I would charge, wow, I don't know, haha. I'm so used to drawing these things for free. I'd probably be thrilled with anything (I'm such a great businesswoman, haha).

YAY! It'd be cool if the grooms looked like the actual grooms (let me find you a photo), but it's okay if they're generally pretty (which they are anyway).

If you want any changes, just let me know! I tried to do some manly stubble, but it turned out too cheesey, so they're both clean shaven, haha. Facial hair is difficult.

And ooooo. I suppose the equivalent of a paid account or extra icons to paypal would be great (since I'm lazy and don't really use LJ too often). Now I just have to make an account...

This was fun! I feel like an actual ~*artist*~ now. I'm so happy you thought of me to do this! :D

Okay, so I'm late and therefore my apologies -- but I was away on a trip untiul today, so here's the update:

The lame torch_wood people had already picked something for the card (nothing as good as this, though!), so they didn't include it in the card. Boo to them. However, since it was so cute, I decided to send them the card myself just so they coukld see your art, 'cause it was lovely and adorable and campy. So, since you made the effort and I ended up sending it to them as a card, let me know your fee so I can paypal you, yes?

And thanks a lot for this! I shall pester you later for something else. ;)

Whoops! Sorry for the incredibly late reply - busy week.

Aw, sorry it didn't go exactly as you had planned. But woo! I had a lot of fun drawing it! If you want anything else, feel free to ask (though since school has started again it might take a bit)!

And PayPal confuses the hell out of me (I am smart, haha), so I think a paid livejournal for however long you see fit will work! I should actually update this thing more often anyhow. Anything to avoid classwork and actually get my creative juices flowing again. It's been a pleasure! Thanks! :D
