Man, he really is. He behaves like a man sent directly on a mission from god. You know, I liked what you said - about him actually wanting Dean's approval. I like their relationship - the thought that he wants Dean's approval means that Dean's hero worship period meant more on Gordon's side, you know? And that's definitely interesting, because we didn't see a lot in Bloodlust, at least that I remember.
There needs to be way more Gordon, man. I love that guy.
My favorite restaurant in Austin in Threadgills, where Janis Joplin got her start and even lived for a while. I know Frank Zappa had a dish named after him, too, because he frequented it. :D
Three degrees away from Janis Joplin -- sweet! If you want to be three degrees from the Grateful Dead I can hook you up. My mom went to a couple of their concerts, she even took some really good shots of Jerry Garcia performing.
Supernatural was really great last night. And, I think you're right. There is absolutely no way on God green earth that Dean would kill Sam. Died for Sammy, sure. But having to kill is brother. Nope, it will never happen. Even if Sam goes all evil.
Seriously, dude. I mean, I can understand that people were upset considering that this is a nine episode build-up, but I think John's prone to keeping as many secrets as he possibly can, and this was just one of them. He should've known better, though, charging Dean with something like this. He'd never be able to hurt Sammy. Not ever.
i *think* i remember seeing somewhere that they run into jo during a hunt.
have i told you my jo theory? before we knew she'd left to hunt on her own, i was thinking that upon hearing about her father and john winchester and wanting nothing to do with dean and sam anymore, she'd go hunting on her own, and the next time the boys saw her, she's been all worn and rough around the edges and no longer the cutesy girl they'd met.
but that wasn't much of a leap, i think a lot of people figured out that's what might happen.
but the part that pleases me is that i'm sure the things that were annoying me about jo (the curly girly blonde hair, the peppy disposition) were done ON PURPOSE so that the difference between Old Jo and New Jo, the one they'll find again, will be much more flagrant.
or maybe i'm just HOPING there's a reason for the goldilock curls. because it's not really like kripke to make a girl that girly. yanno?
