(no subject)
Came home early today in hopes of catching an hour or so of sleep before I flung myself into overdrive, but then I realized how much I have to do before I leave for Portland >.<;;. I'll sleep when I'm dead, I guess ... or when I fall asleep at the wheel tonight and run my car off the road. My mom is hugely sick and might not be able to come to Portland; she was supposed to be flying out of San Jose, I imagine, this afternoon, and was too sick to haul herself out of bed, much less drive. She might be coming up over the weekend if she feels better.
Forgot to mention that my dad came home a few nights ago. They released him early, which was really exciting; I thought he was going to come home on Friday and then I'd have to leave two hours later. He's going to fly my sister down here as her birthday present. I think he's just going to give me money? Money's good, baby needs some new clothes. Or, a more likely outcome, baby needs to pay her student loans.
Fuck, I'm tired.
Wore my stone martins today and got quite a bit of eyeballing, which sort of surprised me. I wore fur all of last winter and really, considering that I live in the San Francisco area, got very little attention. My teacher teased me mercilessly throughout class and made me demonstrate the little mouth closure thing that makes one end bite the other. I think I'm supposed to bring my vintage fox fur (the red one with the head, not the white one without) to compare with her modern fox fur next week.
Was hoping to have two stories posted before I left; the last chapter of Beach Blanket Poltergeist was mailed to me on Sunday, but for some heartbreaking reason, I still haven't gotten it. Plus there's some untitled Roy/Ed porn that changes directions halfway through and needs to be reconciled or something.
But! Might be getting a free gas card. More details to come when I find out whether it's happening or not. Hey, did you guys know that K-Mart, Wal-Mart and Target were all founded during the same year? How about that, huh?
