Weird Weather Here
I'm not one to complain about the weather, in fact I'm fascinated by it. And living in a place that virtually has no weather, I guess I shouldn't.
BUT, this all just seems weird. I'm starting to believe in the whole conspiracy weather modification theory propogated by Russia and Iran. (Katrina, Rita, anyone?)
These storms that we have been having the last few days just seem to be AIMED at us. They are tracking over the same area and causing MAJOR street flooding in an area not used to such intense rainfall. And now, we are blocked from leaving the area, since all routes out, which are mountain passes, are blocked by heavy snow.
Tonite, I am watching a tornado warning over Malibu, umm, Malibu? We don't even have thunder and lightning here but once or twice a year, and now a tornado, hail, and snow?
I am taking the bus tomorrow, people here are crazy and don't know how to drive in the rain. ALthough the bus left me waiting in heavy rain the other day because it was 15 mins late, it's still better than driving. Besides, I have to walk pretty far when I drive to work anyway since I'm too cheap to pay for parking.
I'm going to go sit by the window and watch the storm. It's kinda cool. Imagine how green it will be when this storm clears, and how pretty the snow-capped mountains will be.
