“Tat-chan…” Tatsuya just groans when he hears Tomoyo’s tone of voice. Usually if she had that tone, she wants something, and he might end up regretting it later. He could count all the bad things that happen. The sword’s incident which they end up running for their live because Tomoyo wants that particular sword, getting chases by a mad women who thought he’s a gift sent from above to them, getting drenched wet helping Tomoyo when she received her new power. Oh he could go on and on listing all the bad things that happen. Did he forget to mention about getting curse by the gipsy. No, nothing good has ever come when she uses that kind of tone. Well, they are a few, but the most prominent is the bad ones.
“Tatsuya-chan.” He suppresses his groan at the sugar coated tones of Tomoyo’s voice. Some might fall for the sweet tones of hers but Tatsuya has known her for a long time. Far too long if he might add. He looks in dismays at Tomoyo bright smile.
“What is it? What sort of trouble you want us to get into?” Tatsuya asks sarcastically. Tomoyo punch lightly on his shoulder. “Mou, you’re so mean. I just want you to accompany me to the Disneyland and this is what I get? Weren’t you’re supposed to be my best friend? What happen to best friend forever and I’ll do anything for my best friend?” Tomoyo asks pouting.
“I don’t know. You know I don’t like this outdoor thing. Why don’t you just ask Pi to go with you?” Tatsuya suggests. “But I only got two free tickets. If I were to bring Pi, I need to bring Kazu too. Then, I will be a third wheel. Please Tat-chan. Besides what worse could it be to go to the Disneyland? And I really, really want to go and play there.” Tomoyo tries to convince Tatsuya to go with her.
Oh, Tatsuya could think about 101 reasons for all trouble they could be facing. Just as he about to decline the offer, he hears the voice of a vampire he rather not meets.
“Tatsuya-sama, here you are. Oh I’ve been searching for you the whole morning. I was wondering if Tatsuya-sama would want to go out with me. I heard there’s a new French Restaurant downtown.” Marina asks Tatsuya with a sickly sweet voice, completely ignoring Tomoyo who is sitting beside Tatsuya.
Tatsuya looks between Tomoyo and Marina, weighting the option. No, I rather face the troubles with Tomoyo than be in company with this girl, Tatsuya thinks to himself. Then, he looks at Marina and smile. “I’m sorry Marina, it’s not that I don’t want to, but I already promise Tomoyo that I’m going to accompany her today. Maybe next time, ne. Besides, I’ve already went there with Tomoyo and it’s not as good as it rumors to be.” Tatsuya says, looking not so apologetic. Tomoyo’s eyes lit up as she hears what Tatsuya answers is because it’s mean that Tatsuya just agree to go to Disneyland with her.
“Come Tomo, let not waste anymore time. The early we leave, the early we will get there.” Tatsuya says pulling Tomoyo to her feet and dragging her toward the door, trying not to look as eager as he feels to leave. Marina just looks at their backs with undisguised dislike as they walk through the door.

Tatsuya glares at his best friend. “Why didn’t you tell me that they’re going to be here too?” Tatsuya hisses at Tomoyo, gesturing towards Tackey and Ryo who already waiting for them at the entrance of Disneyland. Tomoyo just blinks innocently at Tatsuya. “Oh, didn’t I? Must have completely escapes my mind then.”
“Yeah right, just like how it completely escapes your mind about the gipsy or that women tribe.” Tatsuya says, mumbling to himself as Tomoyo waves at Tackey and Ryo.

“I can’t believe her!” Tatsuya mutters in annoyance. “You and me, both. I can’t believe they ditched us.” His companion, Ryo says. “Now what?” Tatsuya asks.”Well, since we’re already here, why don’t we just have fun. It’s been quite a long time since my last visit.” Ryo says to Tatsuya.
“Have fun? With you? I don’t think so. I rather not get wet or being poured with water again, if I could help it.” Tatsuya scoffs at the idea.
“Look, I’m sorry about what had happen the other night at the restaurant, ok. Besides how was I to know that my jealous ex-girlfriend will also dines in there. It was completely coincident. And you do look like a girl, so it’s only natural if she’s jealous.” Tatsuya glares at Ryo when Ryo says he looks like a girl.
Flashback
The French Restaurant that Tomoyo’s suggests has a very sophisticated and classical looks and feeling to it. The three of them are eating the special menu of the restaurant when Tomoyo suddenly feels the need to go to the restroom, leaving Ryo and Tatsuya alone.
Ryo tries to get Tatsuya to talk, but Tatsuya just content with listening and sometimes nodding, agreeing with some of the thing that Ryo is saying.
“Oh, so this is who you left me for? How could you? I thought you said you don’t want any commitment and want to focus on your career and now, I find you having a dinner with this woman here? How could you, Nishikido Ryo?” A woman suddenly appears at their table, screaming at Ryo and making a scene. Tatsuya’s eyes twitch at being called a woman.
“And you, you’re the one who steal my Ryo from me, aren’t you? How dare you? Because of you, Ryo doesn’t want me anymore. We were happy together until you came along, you..you..Tramp.” That woman yells at Tatsuya. And then, suddenly the woman picks up the glass of water on the table and throws the content to Tatsuya making him wet. Tatsuya eyes narrow slightly. First she calls him a woman, then a tramp now she making him wet by throwing the water to him. This woman clearly has step out of the line. But before he could give the woman his piece of mind, Ryo has beaten him to it.
“Reika, stop this nonsense. You’re making a scene. I’ve already told you I didn’t love you and it’s not anyone fault that I choose to break up with you. No one tried to steal me; I just can’t continue to be with you. Please Reika, understand me. It just won’t work and I’m not lying. I am focusing on my career and I really don’t want any commitment right now.” Tatsuya could see that Reika is fuming in anger, apparently not satisfied with Ryo’s answer. She still believes that she’s right, that Tatsuya is stealing Ryo from her. As if, Tatsuya thinks, human and vampire don’t mix and I’m here only because of Tomoyo.
“What’s going on in here? Tatsuya, why are you wet? And who are you?” Tomoyo appears out of nowhere and starts asking questions. Although other people might not seen it, but a dangerous glint has enter Tomoyo’s eyes. Tatsuya groans inwardly. Of all time, why does her protective mode have to switch on now, Tatsuya asks himself.
“Nothing happens, Tomo. It’s just a misunderstanding. Apparently Nishikido’s ex-girlfriend thought that I was the one who steal Nishikido from her. I think we better go home. I had enough of this nonsense. I’m sorry to cut this dinner short, Nishikido-san but once again I want to thank you for saving my life. Come Tomo let’s go.” Tatsuya says, getting up from his seat.
“OK, let me settle the bill first. You wait for me in the car.” Tomoyo says to Tatsuya. Tatsuya just nods, agreeing with the plan and then he left.
“I’m sorry Tomoyo for ruining the dinner,” Ryo apologize to Tomoyo. Tomoyo just shook her head. “Don’t worry bout it. It’s just a misunderstanding, isn’t it? Well, I gotta go. See you later.” Tomoyo left after she paid the bill.
Ryo glares at his ex-girlfriend. “Well, do you believe me now? We aren’t together anymore, so please just leave me be. I hope you happy with what you did today. Luckily I’m not with my client, if not you could cause me my job. So, excuse me because I’m leaving now.” And then Ryo also left, leaving his ex-girlfriend who is in shock after finding out that Tatsuya is actually a guy.
End flashback
“Look, why don’t we call a truce. Beside we’re already here, right so might as well enjoy it. And you can only go home with Tomoyo, right? So, what do you say?” Ryo suggests. Tatsuya just sighs before slowly nods. “Fine, a truce, I can live with that. Why don’t you show me what so interesting about this place?” Ryo grins and grabs Tatsuya hand, dragging the vampire prince to his favorite ride. And you could hear Tatsuya protest lightly about being drag by Ryo.

“Are they going to be alright? Are you sure we can do this to them? Won’t Tatsuya be mad at you?” Tackey asks Tomoyo, a bit doubt enter his mind after they ditch both Tatsuya and Ryo together, all that is actually plan by Tomoyo.
“Don’t worry, they’ll be okay. Besides, Tat-chan needs to loosen up a bit and I think Ryo can help him. And I think Ryo actually has a crush on Tat-chan.” Tomoyo says with a smirk.
“Well, if you say so. But if anything happen, it’s not my fault.” Tackey says with teasing tones. Tomoyo just laugh. “I will take a full responsible if anything happen, ok. Come on; let’s go to the Disney Sea. I always want to go there.” Tomoyo says, tugging at Tackey’s sleeve. Tackey take Tomoyo hand and hold it in his and they walk to their next destination.

“Seriously, I never met someone who hates sunlight as much as you do, you know?” Ryo says as they walk, trying to find a cooler place.
“I don’t hate sunlight. I just didn’t like it ok. It irritates my eyes.” Tatsuya argues back. Ryo just smirk at Tatsuya. “You’re such a hime, you know. Ah, I know. I will call you hime from now on.” Tatsuya glares at Ryo. “Don’t you dare.” He says, voice a bit threatening but Ryo pay no attention to it. Before Tatsuya can say anything else, suddenly his phone ringing.
“Moshi moshi. Yes, Pi what is it? Ah, yes Tomoyo is with me. Ehem…hmm…Oh shit, I forgot about that. Yes, we will be back before that. Yes, I’m sure and tell Kazu not to worry too much. Ok, see you tonight.” And he put off the phone. Ryo just raises his eyebrow.
“That’s Tomoyo’s twin brother. It seems that Tomoyo didn’t bring her phone and he had to call me. Do you have Tackey’s number? Could you call him and tell him that Tomoyo and I need to go home as soon as possible. We have family dinner that we couldn’t afford to miss tonight.” Tatsuya answers Ryo’s silent questions. Ryo nods and calls Tackey.
Fifteen minutes later, they meet up at the front gate again. Ryo and Tatsuya already there, are waiting for Tackey and Tomoyo.
“Thanks for today, Tackey. I have fun today.” Tomoyo smiles shyly at Tackey. Tackey just smile back at Tomoyo. Then, both of them look at Ryo and Tatsuya.
“WHAT?” Both Tatsuya and Ryo exclaims at the same time. Tomoyo just give Tatsuya a pointed looks. “Well, I guess I’m having fun too. Thanks for today, Ryo.” Tatsuya mumbles.
“Yeah, me too. I’m glad we can play together today, although some people shouldn’t have ditches their friends.” Ryo says while glaring at Tackey. Tackey just pretend to look at elsewhere.
“Tomo, we better get going before your brother starts calling me again. Now I know why you didn’t like to bring your phone with you? It’s annoying. He has called about 5 times in the times that we wait for you.” Tatsuya says, sighing exaggeratedly. Tomoyo nods.
“Bye guys, see you next time.” Tomoyo waves at Tackey and Ryo. “Yeah, bye Tomoyo.” Tackey waves back.
“Goodbye Tomoyo, bye hime.” Ryo also waves to them as they walk towards where they park their car.
“Hime? He calls you hime, Tat-chan?” Tomoyo as in disbelief before burst out laughing. “Shut up Tomoyo.” Tatsuya hisses.
“But…but…he calls you hime.” Tomoyo says as she continues giggling. Tatsuya just glares at his best friend before getting in the car.
