Yamapi is skipping along the Jimusho hallway. Normally, this is not his usual occurrence since he has a cool image to uphold but today is special for Yamashita Tomohisa aka Yamapi. Today is the day when he and Kamenashi Kazuya will officially be couples for 5 month.
“Kazu-chan…” Yamapi calls as soon as he enters KAT TUN’s dressing room, skipping happily at where Kame is sitting. Kame looks up and smiles at his boyfriend. The other members greet Yamapi as he is on his way towards Kame.
“Hey Pi, what are you doing here?” Kame asks. Yamapi just beams at him. “I just want to see you.” He says. Kame gives a kiss on Yamapi cheek. “Do you remember what today are?” Yamapi asks Kame. Kame looks puzzled at Yamapi’s question. “Is today a special day, Pi?” Kame looks inquiringly at Yamapi. Yamapi pouts at Kame’s responds.
“Don’t tell me you forget what today is?” Yamapi exclaims with a pout. “No, I don’t think I know what today is, Pi. Why don’t you tell me?” Kame says, poking Yamapi’s side. Yamapi glares at his lover, crosses his arm, and pouts in place (parallel). He can’t believe that his Kazuya would actually forget about their month-sary.
“Tell me, Pi. What is so special about today?” Kame whispers seductively in Yamapi’s ear. Yamapi shivers at the tone, but he is determined to stay angry at Kame. Then Kame pulls his hand so that Kame can hold his hand. But he is not holding Kame’s hand; instead there is something in the palm of his hand.
“Happy month-sary, Pi.” Kame whispers before continuing his reading. At first Yamapi is dumbfounded, but when he realizes that Kame actually remembers about their month-sary, his face lit up like a light lighting up the city.
“You remember. I’m so happy, Kazu-chan. Here, my gift to you.” Yamapi hugs Kame before giving his gift to Kame. Kame takes it with a thankful smile. “Thanks Pi.” He says.
“Well, I have to go; I’m having my practice in 5 minutes. See you tonight, Kazu-chan. I love you.” Yamapi says as he stands up, ready to go back to the dancing studio.
“Yeah, you too.” Kazu replies. Once Yamapi is outside, he sighs. Although they have been in a relationship for 5 months, but Kame has never uttered the words he has longed to hear from the younger man. Not even once has Kame uttered I love you to him.

“It’s been almost a year, Kazu, and you haven’t said it to me, not even once. Is it so hard to do so?” Yamapi asks in a disappointed tone. This is their first fight after almost a year of being together. Kame just sighs, not knowing what to answer. It’s not that he doesn’t want to, he does. It’s just so hard for him to do so. Not after all the heartbreaks he had gone through. And it is also because he doesn’t really know if he really is in love with Yamapi. But one thing for sure, he really does like and care for Yamapi.
“It’s not that, Pi. I just can’t say it. Please understand.” Kame replies, eyes begging for Yamapi to understand him.
“I can’t, Kazu. I’ve tried Kazu; I’ve tried very hard to understand you, to wait until you feel comfortable, until you really trust me but at the same time the doubt in my heart keeps on going stronger. I need to know if you really love me or not, if you really feel the same way that I do for you.” Yamapi says, his eyes look saddened.
“I do, Pi. I really do. It’s just not the right time yet. Just give me some more time.” Kame says to Yamapi. Yamapi sighs. “Maybe we should not see each other for a while. Maybe I should give you time for yourself.” Yamapi says, finally decides.
“No Pi, I didn’t mean it like that. I still want to be together with you.” Yamapi just shakes his head. “No, this is how it is. If not, how are you going to find out what you really feel for me? With this separation, maybe you can resolve the feeling you have for me.” Then, he cups Kame face. “But if you ever need me, or you finally know what your real feeling is, just know that I’m always there for you.” Slowly, Yamapi kisses Kame on the lips and stands up. “I love you, Kamenashi Kazuya.” And he walks out of Kame’s apartment, leaving Kame dumbfounded.

“Stupid, stupid Tomohisa. Why did you do that? Why did you have to utter those words? Haven’t you already promised yourself not to hurt Kazu just like his previous lovers? But you just have to do that one thing that hurt him the most, didn’t you. Stupid Tomohisa.” Yamapi murmurs to himself while pacing into his apartment. Luckily he is alone, if not people might think that he’s crazy since he’s been talking and berating himself for a while now.
“Maybe I should go back to his apartment and asks for his forgiveness. No, no, I can’t. I already said I’ll give him time. Oh, I’m such a mess up.” Yamapi sits on his couch, palm on his face. Kazu, I love you so much. Please, let your heart love me too, Yamapi prays in his heart.

It’s been a month since the day they were separated from each other but Kame still doesn’t give his answer to Yamapi yet which left a very heartbroken Yamapi. Although Yamapi still keeps his cool image, but you could see that the sparkle in his eyes dies little by little.
Both Yamapi’s best friends and band mates don’t know what to do with him. Every time they try to confront about his problem, he just brushes them off. The only one who can help him is Kame and Kame only. But even Kame can’t do anything because he isn’t ready yet.
Kame walks alone on his way home. Today he doesn’t bring his car to work since he decides to walk to clear up his mind. It’s been a month of separation between him and Yamapi but he still can bear it. True, in his heart he’s been missing Yamapi so much. He misses Yamapi since Yamapi always comes to his apartment after work. Then, they would always talk while having fun. He misses Yamapi so much, especially when he wakes up in the morning, when he remembers Yamapi sleeping face next to him, after their making love the night before.
Kame sighs again. Looking at the sunset, he takes a shortcut to his apartment which acquires him to take a quiet backstreet. Without him noticing, the punks who inhabit the street start to circle him. And it is too late because when he finally realizes it, he can’t run away because they have already blocked all the way out.
“What do you want?” Kame asks them. They just chuckles, as if Kame is making a joke.
“What do you think we want, pretty boy. We want your money of course. And perhaps a little bit of fun with you.” One of them says, perhaps he is their leader.
“Wha..at? You can take all the money, just let me go.” Kame says to them. The leader just laughs. “Why should us? After all, you’re quite a beauty. We should really have fun together.” The leader says, walking towards Kame while Kame walks backward, trying to get away from him.
“In your dream.” Kame spats. “Ohh, feisty! I like them feisty. Make it more fun.” The leader says again; clearly enjoying the look of uncomfortable on Kame’s face.
“Stay away from him.” A voice could be heard from behind them. When the leader turns around, Kame finally can see the face of his rescuer. “Pi.” Kame says, releasing his breath.
“Ah, look, a hero has come. To rescue the beauty I’ll bet. But sad to say, you can’t possibly go against all of us.” The leader says, gesturing to all his underlings, about 6 people.
“I don’t care. Just let him go.” The Yamapi says again. “And what if I don’t want to do that?” The leader says, taunting. “Then I’ll just have to do this.” With that says, Yamapi throws his punch to the leader of the punks with all his might which leads into a fight eventually. Even Kame fights with some of them.
But without them noticing, one of the punks suddenly pulls a knife from his pocket and runs towards Kame’s direction since he is the closest to him.
“NO, PI!” Kame cries out as Yamapi has taken the stab for him. Meanwhile, the punks all run when they realize one of them might have killed the popular idol. Hugging Yamapi close to him, Kame starts sobbing.
“Why? Why did you do that?” Kame asks as he cries. “It’s because I love you, silly. Even if we are separated now, that doesn’t mean I don’t love you. I always love you, Kazu.” Yamapi says, a bit stutters as he is short of breath. Then he raises his bloody hand to wipe Kame’s tears away.
“Don’t cry Kazu. It will only make me sad to see you cry.” Yamapi says again. “Pi, don’t leave me. You can’t leave me. I need you.” Kame states.
“You know I won’t, Kazu. I’ll always be in your heart.” Yamapi tries to console the love of his life. “Pi, please, don’t leave me. I love you. I love you so much.” Kame finally says. Yamapi just smiles, finally hearing those three words he has longed to hear from his lover. Slowly he closes his eyes.
“No, no, no Pi. Don’t leave me. PIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII!” And Kame’s scream echoes in the hallway.

Kame looks at the sea ahead of him. His mind is not with his body right now since he is remembering about the past.
“What are you thinking about, love?” Suddenly a hand snakes around his waist. He just leans to get the warmth from his lover.
“Just about the time I almost lost you. I don’t ever want to experience that again.” Kame shudders at the thought. Yamapi smiles when he hears that. “Well, you’re not. So don’t bother thinking about it. Besides, I think there is one good thing that happened that night. You finally admitted that you love me.”
Kame turns to face Yamapi. Putting both his hand at Yamapi’s cheeks, he says, “I meant it with all my heart. I love you, Yamashita Tomohisa.”
