Siiiick

I keep getting these creepy spam emails in my spam folder that say they're from people that are in my address book, but the email address is not theirs. It's really creeping me out. How do they get that information? I've gotten several now. Anybody else getting those?

I've got a sick boy at home today. He's been coughing for awhile, and last night he had a low-grade temp. This morning he had a temp of 101.6, so I sent him back to bed, but he got up like 15 minutes later saying he was hungry, and he's been laying down watching TV all day. He's not acting TOO sick. He's not running around, but he's not lethargic, either, so I'm not too worried. Andrew and I have both had snot-nose and coughs, but Lauren has stayed snot-free. She has an excellent immune system, apparently. She didn't get sick when we were in Alabama, either, but Evan and I did. I'm glad b/c in the past no matter what kind of sick she was, she'd throw up. I'm happy to avoid that.

I was supposed to go to the dentist for a cleaning today, but oh well. I spent a big chunk of the morning trying to get through on their phones to tell them to cancel it. The appointment card says they reserve the right to charge fees for appointments cancelled with less than 24 hour notice. I hope they cut me some slack since my kid is sick. It's not like I planned on that.

Yesterday was Andrew's birthday! He's the big 2-9. Just one year away from 30. Holy crap, we're getting old. I made him a king cake. By the way, I need to repost about the king cake recipe sometime. I've figured out a few more things, and now it's actually PRETTY whereas before it just tasted good but looked like crap.

Well, I'm interesting. Bye!
