really want some king cake...
I'm really wanting some king cake... very badly. I knew this would be one of the things I would miss about Louisiana. I've been looking online, and the two bakeries I've looked at (b/c my dial-up is so freakin' slow, I've only looked at TWO!) have king cakes that can be shipped over night... for $40-$50!! Holy crap... and I looked up a recipe, but it looks way too complicated for this simpleton of a baker. anyone know where i can get one? a GOOD one... not one of the crappy ones from wal-mart. I wonder if there's some cajun restaurants around here that might have one... hmmm...
Evan's been watching his new curious george movie all the time. I think it's cute how whenever george plays peek-a-boo, Evan laughs out loud. Every time. And now he plays peek-a-boo with me all the time. So cute. hehe, he just did it again.
