Not So Fun Times:
Yesterday I started having pains in the lower left part of my back again. It wasn't hurting as bad as it did when I had to go the hospital, but it was hurting so bad at one point that I couldn't even stand up straight b/c I was doubled over in pain. I spent most of the day in bed hating my stupid body and trying to rest. Why is it that on the days that I try to rest are the days that Evan doesn't take naps? haha Oh, well. I was going to try to wait until Friday for my next doctor's appointment, but when I wasn't even able to sleep last night b/c of the pain... I thought I should go ahead and go in today. They said there's some white blood cells in my urine which means I'm getting another infection, but since there's no blood or anything like that (like last time) it's not as bad yet. He went ahead and prescribed me another antibiotic and is doing a culture on my urine to see what infection develops. Yay for stupid bodies! Thankfully, I'm not feeling any pain right now... I hope that this doesn't continue happening...
FUN TIMES!!
Friday night I went to the Robin Thicke concert with Andrew and Amy. SO much fun! There were two opening acts: Algebra and some dude I never heard his name... but he tried to have sex with his mic stand. Interesting. Robin Thicke was fantastic. This whole concert experience was different than any other concert I've been to. It was in the BJCC Concert Hall which is where they have plays and ballets and such. When we walked in, the ticket lady told us to visit the martini lounge. Okay, yeah, I'm used to there being beer booths. haha And then everyone was dressed REALLY nice. We were in jeans and nice shirts and we were way underdressed. The couple next to us, the guy had on a suit with a little hankey in the front pocket. So, anyway, when Robin Thicke finally came out, I was expecting everyone to stand up and dance. No. Amy and I stood up and danced during one of the songs, and an usher came and told us to sit down. haha We decided it was b/c we're white and can't dance. Discrimination! haha (Oh, by the way, definitely the minority. And DEFINITELY the only white people dancing. haha) At the end of the concert, though, he told everyone to stand up and dance, so I still got to shake my groove thang. I definitely got a lot of stares for being 8 months pregnant, at a concert, and dancing, but oh well. He played mostly songs from his last album and only a few from the new one. And he shortened a lot of his songs which was kinda weird, but I liked it b/c then he sang more songs. And, oh, he's freakin' hot. Another cool part about the concert was that I didn't smell like cigarettes afterwards! A perk to having it in a concert hall! Man, I had so much fun. It was cool to forget my worries and just enjoy the music... and dance... I love dancing. I miss it. Lauren was kicking ALOT! I'm not sure if that meant she liked the music or hated it. But she really moved when there was a lot of bass.
So I think that's all the fun and not so fun times I've had recently. The major ones anyway... Happy New Year's in TWO days everybody! Good night...
