so, went to the dentist yesterday to get half my mouth frozen and subsequently get a goodly number of cavities filled. while they were drilling away i was listening to CBC radio 690 and they had a segment on the glory of the cowbell. yes, this is for you, j----, whether you read this or not.

anyways, they heralded it as the most overlooked, yet joyful instrument that can be put into a song. they played the SNL sketch and then asked the radio audience if they knew a canadian song that needed more cowbell. as an example, they played loreena mckennitt's "the mummer's dance" with cowbell accompaniment and, yes, it made the song much happier.

after the they finished filling my teeth, they took a 360 degree x-ray of my mouth to see what was happening with my wisdom teeth. it looked something like this:
they say that my two bottom wisdom teeth are impacted and there's not enough room for my upper wisdom teeth. they've all got to come out. and it would seem that they all have to come out soon. the dentist wrote me up a recommendation for an oral surgeon closer to home and i am to call him as soon as possible for a consultation.
so here's a question to all you veterans out there:
concerning the extraction of wisdom teeth, is this picture true? and what are the after effects for the human and her mouth?
