enter, the scanner
falling back an hour didn't help me get extra sleep. in fact, although i went to sleep rather late, i still woke up earlier than i usually do on the weekend. that made for a very long and very productive day.
in the morning, adam and i went and purchased a canon inkjet printer/scanner/copier/faxer. here's hoping that it won't die in a year since i did shell out for something above their cheapest, most basic model. he's a classy unit. his name is nigel.

i dusted the surface he was to sit upon and then went out to w.r. to meet fizz_bubbles for tea. as always, we had refreshing conversation and i feel so lucky to know such a vibrant lady. there is a possibility that she will be moving into the city which would mean more frequent visits. i hope it happens soon!
back home again, adam had set up nigel (much to my joy). then i started dusting more surfaces of the office (i'd moved some things to make room for nigel and now those things needed to be placed on surfaces that needed dusting). i also successfully integrated adam's and my libraries together. there is still much that needs to be done to make the space look less haphazard, but it's definitely a start.
add to that the fact that we had an epic feast based on dishes found in world of warcraft over at cliomuse's abode last evening and got to hang out with lots of amazing friends, and i'd call this weekend a grand success.
