Don't think I've ever seen so many starfish clumped together like that either. Usually they're more spread out. Made me think that I should check the tide tables before taking the relatives to WR. Might be nicer if the tide is out a bit.

Cute pic of you two standing on the rocks. Such a blue sky. He looks taller than you there. I try to hide my camera like that too. :)

Great pics! I can't believe you went a back alley wandering downtown. Yeesh. Too bad I was in Victoria otherwise I'd have loved to have squeezed in a coffee date with you two. Next time you're here???

i can't believe we went down a back alley either! downtown nanaimo is full of seediness ;)

Oh! - one more thing. Have seen the starfish do this clumping thing over here many a time. It's weird.
