Saw the weather report for today. Melbourne: 12 degrees, rainy and general piss poor weather for fun. Sydney: 20 degrees, clear blue skies, went to Bondi and Coogee Beaches. Much fun was had.
Went back to friends place. Watched TV. Decided to post LJ entry about difference in weather. Needed to turn on light switch. Blew out the fuse. Flat was plunged into darkness. Realised that neither of us had flash lights. Buy flash light was added to the "to do" list. Not allowed to touch any more light switches. Power is now restored. Very amusing to me, but not for the person who pays to live there.
