Harvest Inspiration

I didn't plant a garden this year - not even any flowers. Things were just too hectic back in May and June. Fortunately however, our lovely neighbours did. In the last week or two, we've been gifted with the bounty from their gardens: eggplants, zuchini, giant tomatos, tiny cute cherry tomatos and pears. So all this lovely healthy food has inspired me in the kitchen.

I also made zuchini bread, broccoli soup, pears on french toast and pear upside-down cake. Yummmmmm.....
