Happy Chriskwanzakah to everyone!!! im in san francsisco with family right now. im sick as a dog with 2 ear infections...its the most horrible thing ever.... blech...but anyways...
im trying to be strong for my cousins who lost their mom recently...seeing as i know exactly where they're coming from... it hurts so much to know what they're going through. one's 9 and the other is 14, the same age as i was... its a terrible thing to go through, but i know this will help them be strong in the future. it'll be so hard right now....especially during the holidays, because their mom went ALL OUT. i'm talking christmas music 24/7, big elaborate decorations and everything... but so far i think they're handling it well. time will only tell....::sigh:: but im really glad to be with my family..we rarely see eachother. i have such a small family, i can pretty much name all of them on 3 hands...so this tragedy has brought us together, kind of a mixed blessing... but, im going to enjoy them while i can. thats a great lesson i learned after my mom died... we need to learn to love and appreciate family and friends while we can....because you never know.. one day theyre there, and the next....gone. so on that note, i love you all and hope you have a wonderful holiday. and i want to leave you with this:
Live as if you were die tomorrow, and
love as if you were to live forever....
