A brief lampoon on Sunny Deol by Vrijesh Heerji, an obscure character artist in Kunal Kohli’s Fanaa, was a pun (surely not intended) on the entire film. In Fanaa, Aamir Khan is a mellow version of Sunny Deol and Kunal Kohli, heavily reliant on many Urdu couplets, replaces the dialogue-baazi of Deol’s films.
