Looks like I missed an exciting weekend.
Anthony, are you doing all right?
Kyle, were there pictures?
I remembered that I was going to put in a pond for the ducks. Would it be all right if I came over and started work on that? I imagine they're getting to a point where the bathtubs are too small.

Allowing himself a few minutes to stand there, remembering the good memories -such as chasing wee!Kyle and wee!Ianto over the dunes- Jack walked around the perimeter a couple of times before settling on what he felt would be a good spot for the pond. Sheltered by the house, it could be checked on from the bedroom he'd shared with Ianto and Kyle and a pen could be built without tearing out too much of the natural foliage.
Shrugging out of his coat, Jack laid it down on the ground and then sat atop it. He soon had a notepad in his lap and was making drawings.

He idly wondered if hoovering the cobweb he could see in the corner would be considered 'overdoing it'.
He was on his way to get the hoover when he caught sight of something familiar and blue out of the window, and he stepped closer to have a proper look.
It had been three weeks since he'd seen Jack, and how much he'd missed the man the entire time crashed into him like a wave. He was making notes on paper, but he could have been running through the garden naked for all Ianto cared.
He hesitated for a moment, and then moved to the kitchen, which he knew was empty to bolt out the back door.

Jack would like to point out, he was innocently sitting under a tree drawing various pictures of a pond, duck house and pen for ducks. He was in no way rousing the rabble.
It was the cobweb's fault!
The older man's head was turned down towards his work. He was thinking over the conversation with Anthony earlier and just, generally thinking. He seemed to do that a lot these days, had spent the weekend tucked away in his room in the TARDIS, reading, resting and quietly thinking.

For the minute, though, Ianto didn't approach Jack. He stayed close enough to see him properly, but far away enough not to get caught, half tucked behind a tree. Nobody expected him to be outside, so he was sure nobody would come looking.
