The new Mini-Hub
The house / work facility was complete and the Mini-Hub proper was move in ready. Which is why Jack had spent most of his weekend doing, moving.
The upper level of the house looked as a beach house should look and yes, Jack had had fun with the blue paint. Inside, it had been designed to accommodate various personalities with as much space as possible. Attention had definitely been given to the kitchen with what would hopefully be a comfortable dinning area.
There were decks all over the house on the various levels, giving people plenty of room to go and be off by themselves as well as a couple nice little spots to pamper and relax.
Jack and Ianto's room had been tucked away so they wouldn't bother anyone and was kitted out the way they'd discussed. Bed near the window and with a small fire place and sitting area for the nights when Jack was up prowling late. There were plenty of other bedrooms that Jack would leave Gwen and Abby to sort themselves out.
Abby was invited to add black as she saw fit, of course!
All the bedrooms had private decks with stairs that lead down to the sand and allowed for people to come and go as they pleased without going through the main house. All rooms were wired for computers and other electronic necessities and though he'd been tempted, Jack's better nature had prevailed and he hadn't wired the house for security.
At least, not the top half.
Underground was a different story and getting down there was going to be just as rigorous as it had been back in Cardiff. With eye scans and the like, the Mini-Hub was decked out almost exactly like home. Just without some of moss and mildew that had built up over the years. The vaulting system was the same and even Jack's office.
Sometimes you just liked a bit of home away from home.
Now all he had to do was put the apartments back the way they were!
And ... moved. Finally.
