The Waistcoat. It has a noble history and is a fine garment indeed.
I happen to look very good in one, particularly with a nice watch chain and pocket watch as an adornment.
Long story short?
I'm NOT wearing a necktie to dinner tonight.
Don't try to insist, that would just make me stamp my little feet and pout my lower lip because the necktie is NOT happening.
