"I"ve been thinking about the straight and narrow. . .there are no right angles in my life."

Lifehouse was amazing on Friday! I met the band and they were the nicest people i have ever met. We also had a very interesting night at Scotty's were I ran into an old aqutaince. It is such a small world, but alas, we agreed to hang out. I love new friends.

Life is good right now. I love Bloomington, but I hate that summer is ending. I get a little sadder everyday as the countdown of days gets shorter and shorter. I wish I could stop time and just leave everything as is. If only Bloomington summer could last all year long. sigh.

Vanessa is back!! It was so nice to actually be able to speak with her on the phone. I can't wait to go home and visit her.

My cousin is pregnant. It is the first Pilewski grandchild and my first Pilewski second cousin. Great news.

My Caroline leaves for Germany soon. I am very excited for her, but sad to see her go at the same time. I am going to work very hard to make a trip out there after graduation to see her. I need to just use the time i have now while i am young and without anything and anyone holding me back to travel. Money is tight, but what else is new. Sometimes, you just have to disregard the material and make things happen. A very good friend taught me this and she enjoyed some of the best weeks of her life this summer.

Besides my animosity towards people moving back to Bloomington and summer ending, I have very good vibes that is this going to be an awesome semester. I look forward to seeing the people I missed all summer as well as continuing to spend time with the "summer crew". I have become very close with some people the last few months who I didn't really ever spend time with during the school year. I am excited to merge these friendships with the close friends I have moving back. This semester is going to be all about relaxing, letting loose, and appreciating the little time i have left as a student at IU. Carpe Diem!

Good luck to everyone who starts classes this week.
