After a marathon week in Cali. I'm officially in Philly now! R and I had an awesome first day . . .

Ahhhhhh. Still lots to do. Need one more day to get it all done.

Headed back over to my new place this morning to finish unloading the cube. By noon I had everything out of the cube except two bookcases, the mattress, my desk, a dresser and the kitchen table. A coworker called around 12:30 and offered to swing by with her boys (a 15 year old and a 13 year old and their two friends). I spent 2 and a half hours moving my possessions from the cube into my new place this evening. Overall, I feel good about the progress I made. I'd say I moved about 60% of the cube inside. And I did it all by myself. I'm a bit sore at the moment, but the it's a good ache mostly--and it reminds me that I need to sign up at the Y when get back from ( Read more... )
