Let's get a few things straight. Competetive cheerleading is a sport. It requires various skills. It has a very high injury rate. And practice. And every other thing that every other fucking sport entails.

It is more difficult than cross country. Why? Because yes you need to stretch and warm up before you run to prevent injury. And yes you push your body to its physical limit. But HELLO. Same with cheerleading. Except cheering is more difficult because it involves all of that (we had to run every practice, plus do a million jumps which is probably more taxing on your joints and the rest of your body) in ADDITION to coordination, smiling even when you're pissed off or hurt. Getting jacked in the face by your flyer (trust me) and remembering the choreography.

Do not tell me Cheerleading is not a sport. Do not tell me "hyuck hyuck, how hard is it to clap and yell?" because that makes you ignorant. And I hate ignorance. Especially when it's partnered with arrogant fuckers.

End of story. Cheerleading is definitely hard. Anyone who doesn't think so, try it. I guarantee you will fall flat on your damn face. And then I will laugh.
